The Barakat Trust is an international non-political, non-religious, non-sectarian and independent charity based in the United Kingdom.They operate for educational purposes, focusing on the heritage of the Islamic world. The Barakat Trust provides scholarships for research projects at the world’s most respected academic institutions. Partners include the British Museum, The Victoria and Albert Museum, and the Islamic Arts Museum in Malaysia.
For 33 years they have supported over 700 projects in 40 countries.
