Benjamin, a young poet from Turkey, works in Bosnia as a volunteer to help the extrication of dead bodies from mass graves. He comes to Bosnia in order to escape from his past. A childish game caused the death of his and his brother's childhood sweetheart, Zeliha. The psychological pressure of his job revives his past in his dreams, traumatising him.
Metin is a cleaner, who lives by himself. He has a dream, which he claims is just a hobby: to be an Arabesk musician. He regularly writes songs and records them on cassettes. Unlike his life, his music is full of emotions and drama.
