'The Tree of Hope' - Sculptor Mark Coreth is commissioned to make a bronze for the centre of Jerusalem’s Old City. The mission is to create something which symbolises the city and the pilgrims who come through it. He turns his mind to the influence of nature through the journey of swifts who nest in the city walls, and an olive tree outside of Bethlehem in the West Bank.
